Spending too much time on your electronic devices can cause many negative effects on the body like impaired sleep, eye strains, headaches, neck pain, back pain, and shoulder pain.

Children that spend a lot of their time on technology can also be affected with long term effects. It can impair children’s sleep, delay their learning and social skills, cause behavioral problems, and even cause weight gain and obesity.

Experts say adults and children should limit their screen time. Children under 2 years old should have zero screen time. 2- to 5-year-olds should spend no more than one hour per day (with parental consent). 5- to 17-year-olds should spend no more than two hours. Adults are also advised to spend no more than two hours on their screen outside of work.
